French Exchange: a week of culture, friendship and memories
On Sunday 8th April a group of 5th year French students and their teachers Ms. Laurent and Ms. O Connor headed for Amiens in France for a week long exchange where they attended school and embraced all that French culture has to offer.
Áine Barry, Róisín Downey, Aoife O’Sullivan and Ms. O’Connor all taught classes on day one about Ireland, our culture and language. A visit was taken to the Cathedral in Amiens today also. Students attended their ‘Welcome Party’ in La Sainte Famille High School located north of Paris later that night.

Early start this morning for the 5th year girls and their teachers on the French exchange beginning their journey to explore the sights and culture of Paris today – excitement on the intercity train. What a wonderful city! Journée parfaite.
