The Big Travel Challenge is up and running and all students and staff are striving towards a more sustainable way to travel to school. Trackers from each class will monitor modes of travel like how many people travel by bus, walk, cycle, car pool or walk and stride
No matter how we make our journey each day, the environment benefits when we reduce traffic congestion, reduce CO2 and air pollution.
We can also improve our physical and mental health by walking or cycling. Either way, we can increase blood flow to the brain which helps to improve our cognitive function and memory.
