Webinar::Keeping our kids safe online

With a month to go until Safer Internet Day 2025 our Safer Internet Day ambassadors Cáit Daly and Aoibhinn Walsh are in training to lead events and activities for students in the school supported by our Webwise youth panelists Grace Mc Govern and Aisha Pabon. Please find below a link to a Webinar taking place next Tuesday 14th January that you as parents/guardians may find informative.

 

The Webinar provides an opportunity for parents to learn about the issues faced by famillies today and also to learn about the Parenting the Tech-Savvy Child (PTSC) programme and understand what is involved with adopting the programme for families in your school. 

The areas that will be covered in next Tuesday evening’s Webinar include:

  • Challenges Facing Families and Schools today
  • Setting Effective Boundaries for Technology
  • Social Media & Anxiety, Artifical Intelligience (AI)
  • Pornography, Bullying, and Gaming 
  • Delivery in schools to date + Feedback
  • Programme Benefits and Features
  • Scheduling and Costs

Also there will be an opportunity for those attending to ask questions about the programme and to have access to a Webinar recording from the latest Parenting the Tech-Savvy Child (PTSC) programme delivery.
