We would like to extend a huge well done to four of our 2nd Year students who proudly represented our school at the North Munster Schools Cross Country event in Ennis last week. Eibhlín Mc Carthy, Loren Caldwell, Aedín Healy and Kelly Ryan.
It was a challenging day for all involved, with cold, windy and wet conditions testing every competitor. Despite this, the girls showed tremendous determination, teamwork and resilience, putting in outstanding performances and giving their very best from start to finish.
A special mention goes to Eibhlín Mc Carthy, who was our highest scorer on the team, finishing in an impressive 9th place in the 2,500m race. This follows her fantastic victory at the Kerry Schools Cross Country event last month over the same distance which she won – a wonderful achievement!
We are incredibly proud of the effort, commitment and team spirit shown throughout the day.
