Carry Caman are All-Ireland Student Enterprise Champions!
Today, Lucy Matassa, Seana Walsh, Marguerite Herlihy and Clodagh Buckley represented Kerry in the Junior Category of the Student Enterprise Awards in Mullingar with their high viz hurley holder. The students presented excellently to the judges, representing themselves, their families, the school and the county exceptionally well. It was a culmination of a year’s dedication and hardwork by the students in bringing their enterprise idea to life.
The students also won an award for Intellectual Property based on their work on researching legal ways to protect their business idea, name and logo. Presentation Castleisland was the only school at the final to win 2 awards today, a huge achievement. The 4 girls appeared on RTE News2day and also the Six One news this evening.
The girls look forward to bringing their first place trophy to the Kingdom. We are very proud of their success. Well done to them.
