Our under 16 basketballers were pitted against Gaelcholáiste Mhuire A. G. in the ‘Pinergy U/16 Girls’ All Ireland Cup’ competition today. The game took place in Cork City which made it all the more sweeter coming home with a fantastic win. The girls put in a heroic performance, and went from strength to strength throughout the game. Having trailed at the end of the first quarter, we managed to turn it around very quickly and ultimately finished the game on top 60-37. We are now in the draw for the next round of the cup in the coming weeks. Pres Abú!
