Climate Action Week- small steps, big impact

October 12, 2025

Our Climate Action Week was a real success, with students and staff showing how everyday choices can make a difference. We focused on cutting down plastic, tackling fast fashion, reducing waste and saving energy.

A river clean up, tree planting and biodiversity lessons reminded us how connected everything is, from what we wear to what we throw away. Lessons across subjects like Science, Geography, English, SPHE, CSPE etc explored all aspects of climate change and sustainability.

The participation of the whole school community clearly showed that even small changes can lead to a lasting impact for our school, our environment and our future.
