1Y class participated in an in-class debate competition recently. This is the start of our debating module, which progresses into 2nd and 3rd year, culminating in the grand finale in 3rd year where the classes go up against each other.
The winning team, consisting of Amy Griffin, Molly Moran, Holly Forrest, Maja Moskal, Grace Kelly and Lily O Connor won out on the day over Julia Donegan, Millie Hughes, Gracie Ní Mhuilinn, Maria Jones and Bridín Hickey.
The competition was chaired by Frankie Maguire and the time-keeper was Natalia Kedziora.
A great standard was achieved and both teams did themselves proud.
