The First Year students linked up with Carepack, a heartwarming campaign aimed at connecting residents in nursing homes across Ireland.
The students crafted personalised Christmas cards with festive greetings and sent them via free post to nursing home residents in Co. Louth. The campaign has grown rapidly into a nationwide movement of goodwill which has inspired over 20,000 students from schools across Ireland to participate.
The students will surely bring a smile to those who might otherwise feel isolated during the year and will show how collective kindness can foster a sense if connnection throughout the country.
