Information guide and video – CAO Application Process

Dear Parents/Guardians,

CAO information Handbooks were distributed to Leaving Certificate students in September. The CAO application process opened on November 5th. Early online application (discounted) is 20th January 2021 at 5.15 P.M. which costs 30 euro. Normal online application deadline is 1st February 2021 at 5.15 P.M. which costs 45 euro. Any student applying for HEAR or DARE, and anyone applying for Restricted courses must apply to CAO by this deadline.

Central Applications Office
The Central Applications Office processes applications for undergraduate courses in Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Decisions on admissions to undergraduate courses are made by the HEIs who instruct CAO to make offers to successful candidates.
