Bishop Ray Browne joined us today to launch the Synodal Pathway Listening Sessions with young people in the Diocese of Kerry. Pope Francis has asked us all to contribute to the renewal of the Church and to begin the process of synodality or journeying together into the future and listening to all members of the Church especially those who may have been marginalised. Pope Francis has said it is especially important to listen to the voice of young people just as Bishop Ray did today. Each diocese has elected three delegates to co-ordinated and organise listening sessions and report back to the Bishops Conference in Ireland and Mrs O’Connor from our RE Dept is one of these delegates from the Kerry Diocese.
