Today we had all the right ingredients for a great pancake in Presentation Castleisland. The 5th year Home Economics class made pancakes for not only the whole school but also for the Presentation Sisters and the local day care centre. A donation was asked to be given in exchange for a delicious pancake. A total of €219.36 was raised which will now be donated to the Irish Red Cross to help the people of Syria and Turkey who have been left devastated by the recent earthquake. We keep all of those who tragically lost their lives in this disaster in our thoughts and prayers. We would like to thank everybody for their generous donations to this worthy cause.
