Today, Fifth Year Students enjoyed a wonderful pilgrimage and Celtic spiritual trip around Slea Head. The sun shone brightly on a perfect day as students had a chance to experience the Dingle Peninsula in all its glory. Accompanied by our guide, Frances Day, students learned about the Antarctic Explorer Tom Crean in Annascaul, viewed the Fahan bee hive huts, took a tour of old lodgings belonging to the Sisters of the Infant Jesus, visited the Gallarus Oratory and lots more. For the visiting students on the trip, it was a chance to see the Wild Atlantic Way at its best. Students will now prepare recordings and reflections of their experience to submit to Kerry Diocese as part of Ceiliúradh na nÓg.
