The French department recently ran a competition called Folle de français. (Crazy about French) where students were to showcase the ways their passion for the French language goes beyond the boundaries of the classroom. There was no end to the imaginative ways these students engage with this beautiful language in their own ways. Students from 2nd to 6th year boast amazing streaks in the Duolingo language learning app, listen to French playlists, watch French films and series (including Emily in Paris), play video games and read comics. More senior students convert their phone language,follow French influencers and even listen to French podcasts ! Really showing how French can be fun ! To reward their effort and enthusiasm they received their own original French tote bag (très chic !!) and shopping voucher. Formidable les filles !! Bravo !
