The whole school gathered in the front lawn on this beautiful sunny day to raise its third Green-schools flag.
It takes two years of dedication on the part of the staff, caretaker, john Naughton and the students themselves to receive the water flag. Our Water Ambassadors Colene, Ailbhe, Jasmine, Caoimhe, Emily and Amber also announced that we received the award of the best water flag in Munster!
Just after the flag was raised, the students were treated to a lovely surprise as the melodic ice cream van drove into the school yard!
‘It was a very special treat for us all and we thoroughly enjoyed the mouth watering cones’, said Amber Foley, Water Ambassador.
