Our Seachtain na Gaeilge got off to an amazing start yesterday with La na greamáin (Sticker day). It involved both students and staff talking as much Irish as possible throughout the day to earn stickers and win prizes. There was serious rivalry throughout the day with everyone using their cúpla focail. there were joint winners of the students competition the 5th years and the 3rd years while Ms. Dooley took the staff prize. Maith siibh gach duine.
We also kicked off our whole school competition: Ce hé/Cad é which was won yesterday by Lucy Mc Kenna in 2nd year who correctly solved the clues in Irish to reveal we were talking about Mr. Dargan. The craic continues until next Wednesday
