Second Years Thrilled with Action-Packed Day at Ballyhass
April 19, 2023
The second-year class embarked on a thrilling day out at Ballyhass Adventure Park in Mallow today. The students were buzzing with excitement as they arrived at the park, ready to take on the wide variety of activities on offer.
The day kicked off with an archery session where the students were taught the basics of shooting arrows by expert instructors. After some practice rounds, they got to compete in a friendly tournament that brought out their competitive sides. It was a great way to start the day and set the tone for the adventure-packed activities that lay ahead.
Next up, the students tackled an inflatable obstacle course that was set up in the water. They bounced, climbed and slid their way through the course, testing their balance and agility. The refreshing water was a welcome relief from the heat of the day, and everyone had a blast splashing around in the inflatable course.
One of the most exciting activities of the day was the zipline. The students were harnessed up and took turns gliding through the air high above the ground. Some students were a bit apprehensive at first, but with the encouragement of their classmates, they were soon soaring through the air with huge grins on their faces.
As the day drew to a close, the students were tired but exhilarated. They had tackled a range of activities that tested their physical abilities and pushed them out of their comfort zones. It was a day filled with laughter, adrenaline and teamwork, and one that will be remembered for a long time to come. A big thanks to Ms. Moloney who accompanied us on the day offering her expert archery experience to the students.
