A huge congratulations to the team of Modern Posture at the National Final of the Student Enterprise programme. The event took place in Croke Park, with over 80 student businesses showcasing their entrepreneurial activities over the past year. The Modern Posture team is made up of second year students, Aisha Pabon, Aoibhinn Walsh, Grace McGovern and Niamh O’Donnell. The girls manufactured portable and sustainable mobile phone stands using old floorboards, with adjustable tilt angles and personalized inscriptions. The competition at the final was of an exceptional standard. The girls presented excellently to the judges and put a huge effort into a professional stand display. Their hardwork paid off, with Modern Posture winning the award for ‘Best Display’ in the intermediate category. Well done to them, this is a fantastic recognition at an All-Ireland level. The achievement today continues the school’s excellence in Student Enterprise, this year students winning four Kerry County titles and now an All-Ireland title as well.
