We are delighted to announce that The Shona Project will be visiting our school on Tuesday, October 7th to deliver their Kindness and Goal Setting Workshops to all year groups.
The Shona Project is an inspiring Irish organisation dedicated to empowering young women and encouraging kindness, confidence, and self-belief. (You can find more details about their mission and work here; Home – The Shona Project
During these engaging and thought-provoking sessions, students will explore important topics such as:
The challenges faced by young women in Ireland today
How we approach and address these challenges
The people who influence and shape us
How we treat ourselves and each other
Respecting and encouraging difference and diversity
Setting personal goals and identifying how to achieve them
Understanding our place in the world and how we would like to be remembered
These workshops are an important part of our school’s Wellbeing Programme, supporting our commitment to fostering self-awareness, resilience, and empathy in all our students.
A payment for your daughter to attend this workshop is now available on the app.
We really hope all students enjoy and benefit from this unique opportunity to reflect, learn, and grow through kindness and positive goal setting.
