As we conclude this term, we wish to thank Norma Reidy for her time input into TY. Students had the fantastic opportunity to take part in a hands-on Hairdressing Workshop delivered by our very own talented hairdresser and current school SNA. It was an engaging and practical experience from start to finish.
Students explored the science behind healthy hair using a specialised tool that allowed them to examine individual hair follicles and assess scalp health up close – a fascinating insight into what really lies beneath the surface! This interactive element sparked great interest and discussion around hair care, hygiene and overall wellbeing.
The workshop was highly practical, with students developing key skills in styling techniques, hair preparation, and understanding the correct use of professional tools and products. It was wonderful to see such creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the session.
Most importantly, the afternoon was filled with learning, laughter and lots of fun — a brilliant blend of education and enterprise in action. ️
