This month Transition Year students completed a bridge creation engineering workshop with Mr. Forrest. The group task focussed on creating a bridge that carried the heaviest load, spanned the longest distance in addition to being the most creative bridge construction. This two-hour workshop offered an insight into the role engineers play in constructing the world around us. It helped students bridge to gap between knowledge of content and application of problem-solving.
