This week, Transition Year students participated in a virtual two-day living-lab experience titled Goalmine. The aim of the project was to stimulate and ignite the innate problem solving, creative thinking and innovative mindset of the participants through applied entrepreneurial and creative learning practice. This workshop placed students in small teams working on Sustainable Development Goal 12: Sustainable Consumption. Thank you to the team at Munster Technological Institute for including our school on this initiative. A winning idea will be chosen from the class to move forward to the final. The winning finalist in Kerry will receive a €4000 contribution to enable them to bring their business idea to fruition!
