Today, we welcomed Deborah Weekes, a qualified solicitor and legal consultant to our school. Deborah facilitated an engaging, interactive TY workshop titled Law Ed. This module was first introduced to the TY programme in September 2026. Students are completing two classes weekly under the guidance of English teacher J. McElligott. Today’s workshop provided students with an opportunity to perform as actors and legal professionals in a mock trial event. Well done to all for putting their best legal foot forward! In addition, students explored a range of legal disputes and scenarios frequently encountered by young people. Opinions, advice and experience was shared. Thank you to the Law Ed team for visiting our TY class.
