On Friday February 27th, the students of St. Patrick’s Secondary School and Presentation Secondary School joined forces to spearhead a major fundraising drive for the Esophageal Cancer Fund (OCF), popularly known as Lollipop Day. This collaborative effort served to strengthen the partnership between the two schools, as students worked side-by-side toward a common goal – raising awareness and essential funds for cancer research and patient support.
The students organised and manned a dedicated fundraising stall at Aidl Castleisland, a key national partner to the OCF. The atmosphere was one of high energy and community spirit as students engaged with local shoppers to sell signature lollipops, trolley coins, pins, and keyrings.
Thank you to all members of the public that donated on the day.
