Our eager 1Y students have spent the past 6 weeks or so being introduced to the French language and culture. They have embraced the new language with confidence and enthusiasm as they mastered the lyrical pronunciation of…. le français. Last Friday, we organised a fête to celebrate the end of their French taster. Students were invited to try some French Brie cheese and cured meats (charcuterie) along with the essential baguette before the more familiar French pastries and Belgian waffles.
