Our students walked around the nearby river bank, carrying buckets of water to raise awareness about our global water crisis.
In a world where water makes up 71% of ths planet, it is hard to believe that there is a global water crisis today. There are 785m people whose human dignity is threatened because they do not have access to clean water. Sadly, about 200 children die every hour in the world and unsafe water is part of the reason why. By stepping into the shoes of women and girls who walk over 10km a day to access water, we have a sense of how much we can take take our valuable resource of water so much for granted.
