Well done to Saoirse Collins from 2nd year who recently represented Pres Castleisland in a National online Quiz on Belgium. Being an important French speaking country and hub of the EU, the Quiz was organised and sponsored by the Alliance Française in Antwerp, the Belgian Embassy in Ireland and the Association of French Teachers in Ireland, to mark the country’s presidency of the Counsel of Europe. 40 students from 2nd, 3rd and 4th year around the country battled it out for a place on the podium. The Quiz was entirely through French, so a huge congratulations to Saoirse for her braveparticipation. Félicitations Saoirse!
