For the attention of students of LCVP and their parents / guardians.
This is a reminder of some very important upcoming deadlines for the Leaving Cert.
Students of LCVP are required to submit their portfolio of course work to the State Examinations Commission in Athlone. It must arrive on or before Monday 3rd March. The deadline for posting will be Thursday 27th February, immediately after the mid-term.
The portfolio must be finalised and corrected by their teacher before the mock exams to give students time to do final corrections and printing over mid-term.
The portfolio is worth 60% of their Leaving cert LCVP exam.
The written exam, worth 40%, will take place in school on Wednesday 30th April.
