Holocaust Commemoration at Pres

January 28, 2026

To mark Holocaust Memorial day, Third Year students took part in a meaningful act of rememberance by planting yellow crocuses on the school grounds.

The yellow crocus is a powerful symbol, representing the yellow star of David that Jewish people were forced to wear during The Holocaust. By planting these flowers, students showed respect, empathy and a commitment to ensuring that the atrocities of The Holocaust and the death of six million Jews are never forgotton.

As the number of survivors continues to decline, it is important that the younger generations learn, remember and pass on their stories.
