Today TY students from Presentation and St. Patrick’s travelled to Munster Driving Campus for an exciting and educational driver experience. The day provided students with a valuable opportunity to get behind the wheel in a safe and controlled environment while learning important road safety skills.
Students took part in a variety of practical and interactive activities including a reaction time test and the chance to sit a mock theory test. One of the most eye-opening experiences of the day involved using beer goggles to simulate the effects of driving under the influence, highlighting the dangers and impaired judgement associated with alcohol consumption.
The programme gave students a greater appreciation of responsible driving and road safety awareness, while also building confidence and understanding for the future.
