Congratulations to our Transition Year class of 2025/2026 on their graduation from TY on Friday. This group have proved wonderful ambassadors for the school across a wide variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Students received certificates from courses they completed during the year that included barista training, Special Effects Make-Up, YSI Ignite and Mallow Driver Education School to name but a few. Students also received individual awards. As noted in the overall April School Awards, Jessie O’Keeffe received TY Student of the Year. On Friday, Claudia Cuenca Puig and Luna Stork jointly received TY International Student of the Year. Lisa Marie Heyer, Laia Sabelli, Laura Klein, Maria Eliza Lopez, Maria Pereira Galdino, Noa Marino and Violeta Alvarez Serrat received TY Effort and Resilience Award. Leah Burke was awarded the Spirit of TY Award. Éabha Harkin was awarded TY Role Model of the Year. Academic Excellence in TY was awarded to Maider Cabo. Natalia Kedziora received TY Personal Development Award. TY Talent Expression Award was received by Alana Kelliher. TY Attendance Award went to Nikola Wrobkewska. Congratulations to you all. It has been a privilege to to hold the role of Year Head to this wonderful group and I wish them well as they now enter Seniors Cycle in September.
