Congratulations to Caoimhe Scanlon, Colene O’Callaghan, Ailbhe Fleming, Emily Walsh, Amber Foley and Jasmine O’Sullivan who were amongst 154 Secondary School students Nationwide, recently accepted as Water Ambassadors for 2021/2022.
The girls attended an online workshop on Tuesday last where they learned about water conservation issues, how to effectively communicate with an audience and how to develop their own water conservation campaign in the school.
They also have yet to look forward to a river clean up and a visit to a water treatment plant, as well as developing their campaigning and communication skills and meeting like minded students who have an interest in pursuing an environmental career.
