Today, there was great success for our 2 Student Enterprise teams in the preliminary round of the National Finals, announced online in a live broadcast.
Both Roley Poley and Mearscaoilte Lao have been selected within the Top 5 enterprises in the country in both the Junior and Senior categories. This is a huge achievement and both teams will now travel to The Helix in Dublin to compete in the National final on 18 May.
Furthermore, both teams were awarded special prizes today. Roley Poley received an Intellectual Property Award in the Junior Category, while Mearscaoilte Lao received a Special Commendation Prize.
Well done to both teams, it is a huge achievement that 2 teams from our school are among 15 teams selected nationwide to compete at the National Final. Best of luck to both of them on 18 May.
