Today, our senior football team reached the Senior Ladies Kerry Schools Cup final but met their match against Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne. Despite a spirited performance in the second half, the team had simply left too much to do to overcome a strong Dingle side. This young squad secured their place in the final with some fantastic play in previous rounds and will no doubt be back next year with a point to prove and hopes of going just one step further than today. Thank you to Louise Ní Mhuirtheartaigh and her team for their efforts in organising this competition. It is great to see schools football centre-stage once more post pandemic. We wish our Leaving Certificate players the best of luck in their exams next month. A quick turnaround was required to prepare for graduation this afternoon but speed is this groups middle name and don’t they look wonderful. Go n-eirí an t-ádh libh!
