Congratulations to all of our junior cycle students who recently took part in athletic events in our local An Riocht track. Our third year student Ava Brosnan has shown great potential this year. She received a bronze medal in the Kerry Schools Track and Field event, while Emily Heffernan in second year qualified for the finals of her sprint in the North Munster Track and Field event. This was after three very competitive races prior to that, coming fourth in the final. Well done to all, we look forward to seeing more athletes join us next year, starting with cross country in the autumn.
