Con Houlihan Walking Trail continued

Our First-Year students recently took part in an educational walk in Castleisland, exploring the town’s rich literary and historical connections. A highlight of the day was meeting local poet Jimmy Cullinane, author of The Hilltop Scribbler. He warmly welcomed the group and shared a poem he had written about Con Houlihan, bringing the legendary writer’s legacy to life. The students were captivated by his words and gained a deeper appreciation for the town’s cultural heritage.
