As in prior years, Presentation Castleisland is delighted to welcome and host students on exchange from multiple European countries, this year being Germany, Belgium, Italy, Norway, Spain and Switzerland. These students join our mainstream classes, with some staying for a number of months and others remaining for the full academic year. The students bring new perspectives and experiences to share with the whole school community in Castleisland, creating opportunities for lifelong international friendships. In recent weeks, the 5th year exchange students have been learning about Irish traditions, culture and history (including the Rose of Tralee) and, in turn, have been preparing and sharing amazing presentations on life in their home countries.
