We offer music as a subject to both junior and senior cycle students. Presentation Castleisland is the only school in Castleisland that offers music as a Leaving Certificate subject. Students who study music develop listening, composing and performance skills. Every student also has the opportunity to learn a new instrument in class which is the ukulele.

Music students at Presentation Castleisland regularly add to school activities, local events and prayer services by performing with the choir and trad group. A sample of the musical abilities of the students can be heard on a C.D. which was released last year by the school choir featuring instrumental tracks also.
