Pres Castleisland Presents . . . ‘Got to Dance’- Pics

This Wednesday will stage Presentation Castleisland’s first ever ‘Got to Dance’ competition. Over the last 6 weeks, students in each PE class have been creating their own dance routine in small groups. During the past week, groups in each PE class have danced off against each other showcasing their artistic creations. A winning group has been selected to represent each class in next Wednesdays ‘Got to Dance’ competition. With 7 groups competing in the final, it promises to be an entertaining and dramatic event.

The judges for the event will be Mr. Dargan, Ms. Daly, Ms. O’ Shea and Ms. Murphy. The 7 groups competing to be crowned our first ever ‘Got to Dance’ champions will be as follows;

First Year – Young Offenders and Happy Gangsters
Second Year – Fusion and Multi Macarenas
Third Year – TGIF Girls
Fifth Year – Sapessi
Sixth Year – Capula

We wish everybody involved the best of luck on Wednesday. Finally, huge credit goes out to all of the other groups who just missed out on the final. The level of creativity was admirable in each class, and it has set the stage for making this an annual event.
