Holocaust Memorial

January 26, 2024

Third year History students planted crocus bulbs to commemorate the 6 million Jewish people who died during The Holocaust. The yellow colour of the flowers reminds us of the yellow star the Jews had to wear under Nazi rule.

When the crocuses bloom at the beginning of Spring, we are reminded that, even after the most terrible events, new life and hope begin. The Survivors stories must never be forgotton and we must tell them to our children.
