Today, Transition Year students visited Killarney House and Gardens on what was a beautiful September morning before attempting Killarney’s newest team challenge – The Escape Rooms. Student teams of seven participants had to work together to solve the code and release their team mates before one hour had elapsed on the clock. The task required logic, mathematical skills, leadership capabilities and team work and each team member had to fulfil their part to earn their team’s escape! As seen in the photographs the winning team achieved the task in a little over 47 minutes. Well done! In the afternoon, students also participated in a one-hour swimming lesson in the excellent facilities provided by Hotel Killarney. Thank you to Ms. Nagle for sharing her expertise with the class. We look forward to putting our new swimming skills to great use in the coming year.
