5th year LCVP class have spentthe past few weeks preparing their Enterprise project. This year`s group organised a Jumble sale for the school community to raise funds for the Sera Husky animal rescue centre. They received lots of generous donations and held their sale last Tuesday in the school canteen. There was a great buzz as they practised their sales techniques and students and teachers left with some great bargains! Throughout the process, students have used their advertising, organisational and technical skills as well as using their creativity and communication skills to get it all off the ground. The class demonstrated
excellent teamwork and cooperation and were delighted with the results. The event is a win-win for the animal rescue and the environment by reusing and recycling used goods. The students now look forward to the next step of presenting the donation and hopefully meeting some of the furry beneficiaries!
