Well done to all first and second years who participated in the Student Enterprise school final yesterday. Over the past few months, students have been working very hard on developing mini businesses, with innovative ideas for new products and services. Items on display at the final included headbands for babies, mobile phone charger protectors and stationary storage units for school lockers.
The first and second place awards were made to Carry Camán (Clodagh Buckley, Lucy Matassa, Marguerite Herlihy and Seána Walsh) and Liner Finder (Melissa Horgan and Sarah Walsh). Carry Camán are developing a shoulder strap to carry hurleys, while Linder Finder are developing bookmarks which highlight what line or paragraph a reader has finished on a page. Excellent business ideas and both teams will go on to represent the school at the Kerry Student Enterprise Final on 15 March 2024. Congratulations to all.
