The new 26 strong Transition Year group visited Killarney National Park and the famous Gap of Dunloe this week. Experiencing four seasons in one day the group travelled across the Killarney Lakes by boat before hiking a distance of 11km from Lord Brandon’s Cottage through the Gap of Dunloe to Kate Kearney’s Cottage. A great achievement by all and a flying start to what will no doubt be a wonderful year for all.
