Presentation Castleisland’s first ‘Swap Shop’ proved to be a big success today. With it being ‘Waste Wednesday’ during this Climate Action Week, transition year students Amber Foley, Amy Mulvihill, Clodagh O’ Connor, Sarah O’ Connor and Olivia O’ Connor, put together a very fitting and brilliantly organised endeavour. Everyone that brought in books or clothes had the option of swapping it for another item, and what was left over will be donated to a local charity shop. With its success, the Swap Shop may well be something that sticks around here in Presentation Castleisland.
