Dear Parents/Guardians,
This Friday, 27th May 2022, our school will hold its new Annual Friday FunFest in the Desmonds GAA Pitch. The outline of the day is as follows:
9am – 11am: class as normal.
11am – 11.45am: extended break.
11.45am: students will go to their timetabled 11.55am class (10 minutes early) and their teacher will take the roll call.
12 noon: classes will leave for the Desmonds GAA pitch, accompanied by their teacher.
12.30pm – 3.00pm: FunFest (a variety of events and activities for all, including, student v teacher events, various stands, face painting etc.)
3.00pm: classes accompanied by their teacher, will gather and once again a roll call will be taken before heading back to school for 3.20pm.
Staff and students can wear sports gear to school for the full day, if they wish (no uniform required).
This afternoon is for all students and attendance is expected by all in school on Friday. The FunFest is not just sports and has something for everyone. Students are encouraged to take part in some/all activities and events. However, students can simply be a spectator for the afternoon, if they wish.
There will be prizes and treats for participants.
A huge thank you to our school Wellbeing Committee for organising this afternoon.
