This week, Transition Year students Aoife Fleming, Elaine Cronin, Katelyn Laide, Megan Dennehy and Shauna Griffin attended the final of the GOALMINE 2021 Project Showcase in Munster Technological Institute in Tralee to present their project and idea titled ‘QR Waste’. This fantastic group were chosen to participate such was the standard of their entry when the virtual workshop came to Presentation Castleisland last month. Their idea focused on utilising the simple nature of QR codes to help consumers navigate the recycling process. The students gave a wonderful account of themselves and were proud ambassadors for our school. Well done ladies.
