Today Senior Cycle students enjoyed an outing to Mallow to see a French film that was released in 2022 called “16 ans” or Sixteen in English. Combining the classic story of Romeo & Juliet with issues of racism, religion and family relationships, students were able to understand and identify with their peers’ situation in a French Lycée. This was a great opportunity to experience authentic language and also provided content for oral and written discussions in the French course going forward. It got a unanimous 10/10 from everyone!
